Ultimate Frisbee has brought much joy to my life for the past 10 years. Now, I have been given an opportunity to share that joy with Palestinian and Israeli youth this summer. Ultimate Peace (www.ultimatepeace.org) has invited me to Acco, Israel to coach at the 2010 Ultimate Peace Summer Camp, “CAMP UP” on July 14-20. This week-long camp’s goal is to promote peace through recreation and education, not violence. The camp will host 120 youth from underserved Palestinian and Jewish communities in the West Bank and

When we say TBUF is the oldest beach ultimate tournament in the world, we aren't kidding. Look what recently made it's way from a box of old VHS tapes to youtube :

This was the 4th Beach Ultimate Tournament at Surfside Beach Texas 1987. This is the Finals between Cox is a Dick Part II (Kevin Cox, Jim Sokalowski, Kim Mathews) and Public Air (Stu Farquharson, Neal Dambra, Steve Malan). It was known as Death on the Beach, as it was 3-on-3, no subs, games to 5. 40x20x10(ez) yard fields.

TBUF is coming to Galveston on June 19th.

Two big changes this year :

• Several teams last year had the benefit of playing up against the water and we are working on expanding the number of water-bound fields.
• All teams in all divisions may have eight players.

Get your team together and sign up or put yourself out there as an individual to be added to a team later.

We are pleased to announce PushPass2Prague, a hat tourney fundraiser sending Houston college youth to Worlds this summer. Help us push these young players to Prague as they embark on their first international ultimate experience. Details below:

Congratulations to the 2010 Lone Star State Champions, the Langham Creek HS Lobos. Under the leadership of Matt Bennett, this team of young guns stomped through the competition in this one day, 16 team tournament held in College Station.
