Congratulations HUC, the generosity you showed was fabulous. The final weigh in at the Houston Food Bank was 1,188 pounds of soup and misc. canned goods! I hope you all feel good about making life better for those less fortunate.

Time to start planning for the Winter League charity drive. This year's charity selection, as you may already know, is the Houston Food Bank's Hurricane Ike Relief. Of course, their stocks have been depleted this year due to the hurricane devastation. Now is our time to make a difference. While we play frisbee and live in our warm houses during this wonderful time of year, many people are still without the basic necessities. We can make a huge difference - with SOUP!!!

Because of those of you who came to the Andrew Davis Benefit this past weekend and the other events happening throughout the weekend, $85,000 was raised to help the Davis family!!!
