Flash Flood Tryouts 2008
In order to assist the captains, please fill out THIS SURVEY if you plan on attending tryouts.
Flash Flood would like to extend the invitation to come and participate at this years tryouts.
Flash Flood is a competitive MIXED team based here in Houston, TX. This year, Flood will be competing in a few summer tournaments and the fall series with the goal to qualify and travel to club nationals in Sarasota, FL. Members of Flash Flood are required to have a high attendance rate at the Saturday practices and weekend tournaments throughout the season from June through October.
Flash Flood will be holding 2 tryouts.
Tryout 1
Sunday, May 18th -- 9:30 AM - 3 PM, with a 30 min break for lunch
Tryout 2
Saturday, June 7th -- 9:30 AM - 3 PM, with a 30 min break for lunch
Please come early to warm-up and gear-up on your own to be ready by 9:30 AM.
Tryouts will be at University of Houston IM fields between Elgin and I-45 on Cullen Dr.
For directions to the tryout location click here.
Please bring the following:
-- Light and Dark shirts
-- Water or other hydrating fluid
-- A cooler to share with people who didn't bring a cooler
-- Lunch or something to munch on during the 30 min break
-- Cleats
-- Shade
-- Sunscreen
