Congrats on a fantastic season and a great overall finish. Considering that we started 0-5, it is really remarkable that we were able to finish 9-8 and I believe 3rd overall. It was awesome playing with all of you and I encourage you to keep coming out to HUC events. Check the website for info.

P.S. If you are bored this weekend, come out to Indoor 2010 @ Kicks Indoor Soccer (611 Shepherd Dr, Houston, TX 77007). The tournament runs from 8am-6pm with the Recreational division in the morning and the Competetive divison in the afternoon. I am playing with a competetive team and would love support if you don't have anything better to do.

So the Winter League season is coming to a close and we have the culminating tournament next weekend (1/23). I don't have much to say about the tournament other than that it is our opportunity to prove to the other teams in the league that we are better than our record suggests. Please let me know if you cannot attend the tournament.

Hey Rabbits,

Congrats on our first win and our amazing turnout! We had the single biggest turnaround on numbers of any team out there. In fact, with only 2 players not coming out, we were the second biggest team out there on a day when most teams were averaging about 10 players.

This week, we are playing on field 1 then 6. Again, let's try to get out there by 9:45 so we can do a warm-up. Also, please bring a toy for the Toys for Tots gift drive (you are crazy to spend more then $5).

I'm apologizing as well for my absence tomorrow. Rice is sending a team to a tournament in Denton so I'll be gone all weekend. Sorry guys :(. I hope all of you can make it out tomorrow; let's remember to welcome those who couldn't make it the first week and the new additions to our team, Dave Horstmann and Chris Napela. Hey Team 4 (Rabbits),

Great job last week! Considering it was our first time playing together, I think we played really well. I'm really looking forward to the rest of the season.

A few things:

1) We do not have a game tomorrow, 11/14. Do not show up.

2) Make sure to bring water, sunblock, and maybe some food to next week's games. These things are good for your health.

3) The throwing/skills clinic before games will continue to run from 9:00 to 9:45AM. Come out if you feel like you want to work a little outside of games.

4) We need a team name. Something rabbit related?
