Team Snake, here is some important info:
- get to the fields early - 8:30a
- game time is 9:00a sharp
- it will be cold, pack/dress accordingly
- we are a 2nd half type team, maybe because we aren't ready to rumble at the start of the day, so let's get it cranked up right off!!!
- seems like every year some team from the middle of the pack has a great tourney and wins - let's be that team in 2010!
- we start on field #1
- anything else??!!

Get ready for the last week of regular play... Games are at 10 am as usual. The weather should be great so let's go out and have some fun!

This week, the women of Texas Showdown will challenge Winter League players in a showcase game at 1:30 at U of H.

Hey folks! What a great comeback in the last game last week! We are going to have to get a really good warm-up on Saturday morning. It will be COLD! So plan accordingly - you might not be jazzed about getting out of the house and showing up early, but please don't show up late or right at gametime and try to play without warming up properly. Let's play hard and climb up in the standings as the regular season begins to wind down. Please let me know if you know you can't make it this week. Otherwise, see you on the frozen tundra!!!

Some important info:
Every year, HUC winter leagues supports a deserving charity (see http://houstonultimate.org/Charity for more info). This year, we are collecting toys for "Toys for Tots". The official day for collection is December 19th, but if you will not be there, please bring your donation this Saturday. Any toy will do. Let's be the team that brings the most toys!

Wow, it's been too long since our last games! Better bring our "A" game this Saturday - and a good base layer, as it looks to be really cold. Actually, we don't tend to get too many of these BRRRR days during Winter League, so pretend like we live in the northern climates for one day and enjoy it!
