just a reminder, there are no games today. there is a college tourney at our fields where our teammate dylan brooks will be playing with UH. not sure if there are others on our team playing today.

also, i wanted to send some reading websites for ultimate strategy and tactics to help get us on the same page. given our lack of practices for the season, i think this will help with general concepts. let's hit man-to-man first. give these a spin and let me know what you think:

ok, i've got a lot of email from huc people that apparently are really really good at sending lots of email. we'll see if they can play ulty. not sure how much of this you know so here goes...

week1 - we are team8 so we play team5 on field2 at 10a and we play team3 on field3 at 11:30a. there is also a skills clinic at 9am, get there early to check-in and get your schwag. we'll discuss strategy at the fields but in short we'll focus on completing passes, knowing the force, and running hard which we will call "winning the effort battle".

katey and i have drafted you to play with us for huc winter league! here are some notes from the td below, sorry for the late notice (we just drafted late tues nite). let's meet on sat morning around 9am. more detail to follow on sat and later about our team, name, structure, strategy, fun, food drive, etc
