Winter League '07-'08: The only winter you'll get in Houston...
Winter league is an opportunity for everyone to play ultimate. Whether you are just beginning to play ultimate or have been around long enough to be considered "crusty", whether you are the world's best athlete or are "losing" your knees, league wants you! See the Teaser video!
| What: | Play 2 games weekly. Plus enjoy heckling the weekly showcase game, food and drink in hand, in round 3. See the schedule. |
| When: | Saturdays, 10 am to 1 pm, from December 1st to February 2nd. |
| Where: | University of Houston intramural fields at the corner of Elgin St. and Cullen Blvd. Please consider carpooling. |
| Why: | Because it's fun. Because it's competitive. Because it's a community event. Because it benefits charity. |

Show up around early to league to work on your throws and learn/practice your ultimate skills outside of a game situation. Skills 'n drills sessions (mini clinics!) will begin around 9 am, but show up any time.

Even though the draft has already occurred, you can sign up until December 14th. The per-player price varies based on the options selected, but there is no pro-rating of the price for late sign ups:

**UPA insurance coverage is one benefit of UPA membership ($40/year). You must be a UPA member for 2008 to be covered for league. Unfortunately, you cannot sign up with the UPA for 2008 until Dec. 1st, so we will send a reminder e-mail.
